Halifax, NS (June 24, 2025)– KBRS is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennie Massey, PhD, to the role of Managing Partner. Jennie joins the firm’s executive leadership team, which includes Kevin Stoddart, President, and fellow Managing Partners Katherine Risley, Natalie Hand, and Andrea Forbes-Hurley.
A strategic leadership advisor and experienced executive search practitioner, Jennie has helped organizations across North America navigate their most complex leadership challenges. She brings deep expertise in facilitating critical conversations and supporting complex transitions, enabling clients and candidates to make informed, values-driven talent decisions.
Since joining KBRS, Jennie has played a pivotal role in helping private, public, and post-secondary organizations across Canada attract and select exceptional leadership talent. Before joining KBRS, Jennie held senior leadership roles in higher education in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Her proven ability to lead within dynamic institutions and advance strategic goals continues to shape her impact at KBRS, where she is a trusted partner to both clients and candidates.
In the role of Managing Partner, Jennie will contribute to the strategic direction of KBRS while continuing to oversee her successful, multi-faceted practice servicing clients in the post-secondary education sector across Canada as well as in Newfoundland and Labrador, and the growing team that supports this important work.
