Lori Stickles names President and CEO of Alcool NB Liquor and Cannabis NB

KBRS is pleased to have assisted Alcool NB Liquor and Cannabis NB (ANBL/CNB) in the appointment of Lori Stickles as President and CEO, effective September 7, 2021. Additional details can be found in the excerpt from ANBL/CNB’s internal announcement from the board below.  

 

No stranger to ANBL, Lori is an accomplished Executive Leader with extensive, proven strategic and financial leadership experience. She is as a trusted business advisor who fosters corporate improvement, organizational change, and positive workplace culture through a personable and collaborative leadership style. Lori was also very instrumental in the success of Cannabis NB last year.

Lori joined ANBL/CNB in 2018 as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, having acquired the necessary skillset throughout an impressive career that included a continuous growth pattern of accountability and business acumen, and establishing a reputation as a leader.  Having received her BBA at UNB in 1990, her Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2003 and her Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2014, Lori is a positive example of continuous learning and professional development.  She is active in her community through various initiatives as a volunteer or advocate, as well as formal Board involvement.  The list is diverse and includes United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Chamber of Commerce, local food banks, and supporting improvements in diversity, equity, literacy, and addressing domestic violence.  

Lori has been instrumental over the last nine months, leading the corporation as President & CEO in an acting capacity.  Simultaneously, she secured the consistency and focus of the business that contributed to the highest result the corporation has experienced.  She has led by example and her areas of expertise, including strategic leadership, effective communication, financial management, enterprise risk management, driving results, as well as working through COVID-19 and managing the TEAM through the pandemic have been readily apparent.  These competencies and characteristics will continue to serve her, our TEAM, and the people of New Brunswick going forward.
