As an Executive Recruiter with KBRS, Lauren leverages her research skills and strategic approach to facilitate connections between established leaders and academic institutions. She is passionate about cultivating long-term relationships with clients and candidates alike.
Lauren has a diverse professional background having worked overseas and in Canada in the non-profit and environmental sectors in the functions of executive and board administration and most recently human resources. Under her previous role of HR Business Partner at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Lauren supported and advised internal clients across a broad spectrum of human resource functions, including helping hiring managers find top talent and meet their recruitment goals.
Lauren is a proud alumnus of University of Toronto, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree, with high distinction. She also holds a Masters of Science from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
In another life, Lauren studied and tracked rehabilitated primates in Southeast Asia; in her current life, Lauren spends the majority of her time chasing after her energetic son, Desmond. She is a lover of the outdoors and nature, and as an Ontarian having relocated to Nova Scotia, Lauren enjoys exploring the beautiful province she now calls home.
