A seasoned human resources leader and executive coach with extensive experience supporting organizations and leaders through growth and change.

As a Senior Associate with KBRS, Laurel Clark draws on more than 30 years of experience in human resources leadership roles. Her background includes leading all HR functions with a focus on strategic planning, leadership development, governance, executive compensation, diversity and inclusion, and organizational and culture development. She has supported organizations across cooperative, private, and public sectors, including highly regulated and unionized environments.

Throughout her career, Laurel has played a key role in mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings –helping organizations align culture and people strategies with business goals. She has created and implemented leadership development programs and succession planning processes, and supported boards through governance policy development, CEO transitions, and compensation design.

Laurel is also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation and a graduate of the Executive Coaching program at Royal Roads University. She has provided more than 400 hours of coaching to leaders at various levels, with a particular interest in supporting women, emerging leaders, and individuals preparing for new opportunities.

In addition to her corporate and coaching experience, Laurel has contributed to her community through board and volunteer roles. She currently serves as a Director with CPHR Nova Scotia and has previously served as a Commissioner with the Halifax Harbour Bridge Commission, participating in its governance and executive committees during the Macdonald Bridge “Big Lift” project.
