Jennie Massey, PhD to Lead Executive Search Practice for Newfoundland and Labrador

St. John’s, NL, Wednesday, May 4 - Building on a successful track record of leading executive search assignments for organizations across Canada, Jennifer (Jennie) Massey, Partner, has accepted the lead role with the Executive Search practice for Newfoundland and Labrador.

“Jennie is highly skilled in facilitating the most challenging leadership decisions with both search committees and leaders. Her first-hand experience as a leader in complex organizations is evident in her practical yet thoughtful approach, and she’s a genuine pleasure to work with,” said Natalie Hand, a Managing Partner of KBRS and leader of the firm’s Meridia Recruitment Solutions practice in St. John’s. “I look forward to continuing to collaborate with Jennie to deliver strategic solutions to a broad range of our clients’ recruitment and HR needs.”

Jennie made her home in St. John’s more than seven years ago. Before joining KBRS in 2021, she was Associate Vice President of Western University where she led a large and diverse portfolio consisting of ten departments. Prior to joining Western University, Jennie held several leadership roles including roles at Memorial University, Windsor, University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), Baylor University (Waco, Texas) and Queen’s University where she also earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Geography.

Jennie is an active volunteer and leader within the community, currently serving as the Vice-Chair of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival Board and Board Director with the Shallaway Youth Choir.
