The Board of Directors of the Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority (DLRAA) announced today the appointment of Tammy Priddle as President and Chief Executive Officer of DLRAA. Ms. Priddle will commence her new role on February 10th, 2020. The Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority Board of Directors undertook a national search for a new leader to guide Deer Lake Regional Airport through its next phase of growth and we are pleased to have found a local executive leader with energy and enthusiasm to continue with the pursuit of our corporate goals of maintaining the highest level of passenger service while operating as a good community citizen, protecting the environment and providing value and service excellence to the West Coast of the Province.

Tammy has twenty-five years’ experience working in the public sector and a Masters in Public Administration Management from Dalhousie University. In our extensive search, Tammy impressed us with her visionary thinking, strategic planning, and proven record of developing relationships with government, regulatory bodies, staff and management, as well as clients and communities. Tammy has demonstrated the ability to engage with key stakeholders and foster a positive work environment and culture and we are confident she will be a great fit for the organization. Tammy is excited to join and lead our dedicated team at the Airport and bring her extensive skills and leadership style to our operation.

The Board would like to once again thank outgoing President and CEO, Mr. Jamie Schwartz, for his outstanding guidance and leadership of the Airport for the past twenty years and extend our best wishes for a long and healthy retirement.
