Senior Corporate Secretary

As they continue to evolve and grow, Allshores is seeking a Senior Corporate Secretary to play a key role in supporting the effective operation of the Boards of Directors across their group of companies. Serving as a liaison between the Boards, executive leadership team, subsidiary entities, and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for coordinating board and committee activities, maintaining corporate records, supporting regulatory requirements, and facilitating the timely flow of information across multiple jurisdictions. You will also provide leadership and oversight to the Corporate Officer role, ensuring the effective delivery of corporate secretarial and board administration activities across the organization.

As the Ideal Candidate, you:
- Bring at least 10 years of corporate secretarial and board administration experience, along with a proven track record of leadership, including at least five years leading teams, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
- Have extensive experience supporting Boards of Directors, board committees, and senior executives within complex, highly regulated organizations.
- Possess strong knowledge of corporate records management, regulatory compliance, licensing, reporting obligations, and corporate administration practices across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with board members, executive leaders, regulators, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Are recognized for your sound judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex matters while supporting informed decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
Professional credentials such as an ICD.D designation, Master of Public Administration (MPA), governance certification, or exposure to investor relations activities would be considered assets.
The preferred location for this role is Toronto, ON; however, candidates based in Halifax, NS will also be considered.
