Chief Executive Officer
Closer to Home Community Services (CTH), a charitable organization based in Calgary, Alberta, has been dedicated to preserving, reunifying, strengthening, and enabling families to care for their children and make meaningful contributions to their communities since 1995. The organization employs family-centred, strength-based services to ensure that children grow and develop in stable, healthy, and safe living environments. In instances where families experience separation, Closer to Home provides a supportive home for children and youth, along with therapeutic services to facilitate permanence – the ultimate objective; through family reunification, kinship or supportive transitions to adulthood.

This leader will nurture an inclusive, collaborative culture and ensure responsiveness and sustainability for children, youth, and families.
The CEO provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to deliver high‑quality services to individuals and communities in need. The CEO works closely with and reports to the Board of Directors for the strategic leadership and, where required, operational management necessary to achieve the goals of Closer to Home.
