Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on technology leader with deep expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, IT operations, and security. They bring a proven track record of defining and executing technology strategies that deliver highly available, secure, scalable, and cost-effective services supporting both internal operations and customer-facing platforms.
They are an experienced leader of leaders, with the ability to guide and develop high-performing teams across Cloud, IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Security. Skilled in driving outcomes through managers and senior contributors, they excel at balancing strategic direction with operational execution and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy
- Define and execute a multi-year cloud and infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish and enforce standards for cloud architecture, operations, and deployment across AWS and other platforms
- Architect and govern hybrid environments with strong automation, compliance, and scalability
- Define and monitor KPIs for performance, availability, cost optimization, and security
Cloud Platform, DevOps & Service Delivery
- Own platform performance, scalability, and reliability of customer-facing cloud systems
- Establish operational guardrails, deployment standards, and cloud best practices
- Lead Cloud Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT) and oversee incident, change, and problem management
- Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices
- Manage cloud financial operations (FinOps), including cost monitoring, optimization, and reporting
IT Operations & Service Excellence
- Lead enterprise IT service delivery, including service desk, end-user computing, and internal systems
- Ensure ITSM processes are aligned with ITIL best practices for consistent service delivery
- Deliver a high-quality employee technology experience across all platforms
- Define and enforce IT policies, standards, procedures, and operational controls
Network, Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
- Own enterprise network architecture and performance (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Oversee infrastructure platforms including data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, and backup
- Lead infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, deployments, and modernization initiatives
- Ensure alignment across CloudOps, IT Operations, DevOps, and Engineering teams
Security, Risk & Compliance
- Strengthen and oversee cloud and infrastructure security strategy and posture
- Implement and maintain security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS)
- Manage IAM/RBAC, identity lifecycle, SIEM, and security tooling ecosystems
- Enforce least privilege access principles across systems and platforms
- Lead risk assessments, audit readiness, and remediation efforts
- Drive vulnerability management, ethical testing, and continuous security improvement
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
Incident Management, Business Continuity & Resilience
- Own incident, problem, and change management processes across IT and cloud environments
- Act as escalation point for critical incidents and outages
- Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
- Conduct regular disaster recovery testing and validation exercises
Financial & Vendor Management
- Manage budgets across cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations
- Drive cost optimization and financial efficiency across technology domains
- Oversee vendor relationships and service performance
- Establish strong financial governance and reporting practices
Executive Reporting & Leadership
- Develop and present executive-level reporting on KPIs, operational performance, and strategic initiatives
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for technology decisions
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop teams across CloudOps, IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Security
- Define organizational structure, hiring strategies, and capability development plans
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture
- Partner with Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams
- Support client engagements related to cloud, infrastructure, and security

Requirements
- 10–12+ years of progressive experience across cloud, infrastructure, IT operations, and security
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple teams or functions
- Strong experience with AWS (required); Azure and/or GCP are assets
- Prior work in a fintech, SaaS, or regulated industry (e.g., banking) is highly preferred
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and multi-tenant platforms
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, and end-user systems
- Proven experience in security, risk, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS)
- Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to evaluate, implement, and drive innovation through emerging technologies, particularly in AI, data analytics, and intelligent automation.
