They have personally carried and resolved complex and sensitive files across multiple practice areas. They demonstrate a clear commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and Indigeneity, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams while maintaining an active legal practice. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of policy development, administrative law, and principles of natural and restorative justice. They possess strong advocacy, dispute‑resolution, and contract-negotiation skills, with good familiarity with commercial law and demonstrated comfort with complex transactional matters. They are able to navigate high‑stakes issues with tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion.
