The FCPA designation is a prestigious honorary designation awarded to CPAs who, through their outstanding achievements including community leadership, bring distinction to the accounting profession and serve as a role model to others.

As the Partner leading the Executive Search practice for KBRS in Newfoundland and Labrador, Beverley has recruited outstanding leaders to many organizations across a wide variety of industries.  Her unique background in finance, operations, business development and human resources coupled with her warmth, innate curiosity, authenticity and enthusiasm allows her to create great leadership opportunities for talented individuals in our province and to implement winning strategies for her clients and colleagues.  She believes in the values of integrity, trust and true relationship building while having “some fun” as you are living your values!

She completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours, Cooperative) Degree at Memorial University of NL.  After graduating, Beverley moved to Toronto where she completed the Chartered Accountancy (CA) program.   She began her career with KPMG in Toronto and quickly advanced into progressively more senior leadership roles within the National Professional Development practice.  While with KPMG, she played a vital role in the firm’s talent attraction strategy as well is risk management and operational optimization.

After her time in public practice, she went on to become Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Fishery Products International Limited, an international TSX listed public company with its head office in St. Johns, NL.  Beverley was also Chief Financial Officer of the Research & Development Corporation and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for The Pike Group of Companies.

Beverley holds the ICD.D designation from the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors (a program jointly developed by the Institute and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business) and has served on public, private and Not-for-Profit Boards throughout her career.  She is currently a Board member for a TSX Venture Exchange listed Company where she Chairs the Audit & Finance Committee and is also as a member of the Special Committee to assess strategic opportunities, planning and execution of swap transactions, special financing arrangements and the spin-off of ancillary assets to help maximize future shareholder value.   Beverley is also a Board and Executive Committee Member for the Janeway Children’s Health Foundation where she also Chairs the Finance & Investment Committee.

An invited member of the Women President’s Organization and the International Women’s Federation, Beverley is passionate about supporting the development of the next generation of leaders.  In addition to providing personal mentorship, she has been invited to speak to numerous organizations on a variety of topics including, Women in Leadership, Being a Trusted Business Advisor, Strategy and Performance Management and Building Confidence, just to name a few.
