KBRS is pleased to have assisted BF&M in the appointment of experienced business and IT leader, Martin Davis, as the organization’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective January 15, 2020.
Martin Davis is a results-driven strategic executive, and innovative business leader, with extensive Technology experience across the Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Transportation industries. Throughout his 20-year career, Mr. Davis has delivered value in Fortune 500 corporations and medium and large privately-owned companies across the globe.
He has held senior leadership roles at the Ford Motor Company, J.D. Irving Ltd., and most recently a boutique consulting company, providing CIO, IT strategy, and digital transformation services. In these roles, Mr. Davis employed his collaborative leadership style and extensive information technology experience to deliver business and IT strategies to solve complex business challenges, champion digital transformation, implement enterprise-wide digital solutions, and accelerate business improvement through the latest technologies.

As CIO, Mr. Davis will be responsible for all aspects of Information Technology at BF&M. This includes defining and delivering IT strategy and capabilities across the BF&M Group, giving oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on IT strategies and opportunities, and building strong and productive relationships with all business unit leaders, acting as a true partner and making IT a business enabler.
Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Mathematics from Kings College in London, England along with an MBA from Warwick Business School. He is a certified Project Management Professional and has studied the Prosci Change Management Methodology.
