For aspiring and new academic leaders
Elevating Women in Leadership is an award-winning leadership program designed exclusively for women to reflect, connect, and make choices about their impact. We combine world-class development with contemporary gender diversity research resulting in the acquisition of the skills needed for success in the context of female leadership.
This offering of the program has been specifically tailored to recognize and reflect the unique challenges facing leaders within academic faculties, departments, and research centres.
We are also happy to have Bonnie Patterson share her career journey and wisdom as a part of this session. Bonnie was the first woman Dean of Business in Canada, the first woman President of the Council of Ontario Universities (COU) (1995-1998), the first woman President and Vice-Chancellor of Trent University (1998-2009), and the first woman to Chair the Board of Universities Canada (then the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada).
