Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President, Technology and Security will be responsible for building and executing on an IT roadmap for Steele and the continued development and oversight of the organization’s centralized IT function, including the design, expansion and implementation of systems, software applications, IT support and infrastructure systems with a focus on cyber-security.     

As a technical expert with a highly refined business acumen, you will be key in overseeing the Cyber Security program and advising the executive team on IT best practices. As a people leader, you will be a motivating and inspiring coach, identifying areas for improvement and elevating your team.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in progressive roles at complex organizations. You possess exceptional project management skills and proven experience implementing best in class IT and security infrastructure. You have a successful track record as a leader and subject matter expert in cutting-edge security design and implementation, and at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role within a complex, customer-focused environment.

You are results-oriented and a high-performance professional with a demonstrated drive to succeed and to inspire operational excellence. You can help design and see the vision for business growth, while also understanding the tactical and technical aspects of getting it actioned. You have vision and foresight and are highly strategic but equally comfortable leading a team through all aspects of execution. Ideally, you have already built this function and can tell us what we don’t know.
