Our team handles initial design and installation right through to regular maintenance and inspection, and our capabilities extend to sprinkler systems, fire pumps, pre-action, deluge, standpipe, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, foam systems, FM 200, Hi Fog mist systems, and more.

An independently run subsidiary of Atlantica Construction and the Cahill Group, Life Safety Systems is an expert source for a comprehensive suite of total fire protection services, and key to Cahill’s integrated approach to construction and project lifecycle management.

Reporting to the VP, Operations for Atlantica, the General Manager will lead operations and growth for Life Safety Systems as an independent business unit. The next GM must successfully liaise with a complex and broad stakeholder group including the senior leadership team of Atlantica Contractors and the Cahill Group, industry stakeholders as well as current and future customers to ensure a successful, profitable and sustainable business providing the highest quality service. The GM will develop a new strategic plan and goals consistent with Life Safety System’s and Atlantica’s overall strategy and vision and is responsible for performance across all elements of Life Safety System’s current and future business. The General Manager will provide motivational and innovative leadership for the Life Safety Systems team and be an entrepreneurial leader and partner within Cahill’s corporate culture.

The ideal candidate is an experienced senior leader in the fire safety services industry with prior responsibility for the P&L and operations of a business unit or small company, an expert at managing scopes of work for large fire and safety projects with experience overseeing everything from estimation to execution and project management. You always show up with a collaborative, can-do attitude, ready to collaborate with partners while communicating your expertise in a way that builds trust. You have strong business and financial acumen, enabling you to manage profitability and balance operational and financial implications of projects from start to finish. While you have a mind for details and quality execution you are also a business developer with a forward-thinking vision for long term growth and relationship management and love getting in front of new prospective clients to build relationships.
