STELIA North America, headquartered in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia with an additional facility in Mirabel, Quebec, specializes in advanced manufacturing as well as design, development and production of fibre reinforced composite products for the North American and European aeronautic, space and defence industries. The Lunenburg facility consists of 150,000 sft (14,000 m2) dedicated to operations and administration. With over 25 years of experience, this branch has a particularly strong focus on commercial aircrafts with products that include aircraft structural components and control surfaces. Its vertical integration is offering a wide range of services from conceptual design, material testing and inspection of the final product. STELIA North America employs approximately 220 non-unionized employees.

Reporting to the Chairman of Stelia North America (an executive of Airbus Atlantic), the Chief Executive Officer will be an experienced and entrepreneurial leader who can ensure coordination of all functions and sites in order to maximize profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction supported by a continuous development of human resources. The Chief Executive Officer is accountable for the overall success and growth of the organization, both of operational excellence and business strategy based on the vision and business plans. The CEO will lead the creation of a strategic road map focused on expanding the existing business while staying focused on what the company does best – delivering exceptional service to customers. The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader for the brand, developing and maintaining relationships with everyone from key stakeholders to employees, supporting efforts to streamline and scale operations, and collaborating with the board and executive team to develop strategies that will propel the company to growth.

The ideal candidate has a wealth of experience in entrepreneurial, growth-oriented businesses, bringing bring broad operational business acumen in finance, sales and supplier and client contract negotiation and management, preferably within an advanced manufacturing business. You have a successful track record as a relationship builder and calculated risk taker, identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth with strategic partners. You have a reputation for being a trusted business leader who fosters a strong corporate culture of continuous improvement, positive environment and high performance.
