Chief Capability Officer

Their next round of leaders will bring strength to the organization across multiple growth drivers: operational excellence, market development, customer loyalty, digital strategy and employee and community engagement.

Reporting to the CEO, and as a member of the Executive team, the Chief Capability Officer (CCO) will ensure the right processes, systems, people, and partnerships are in place and are aligned with the company’s culture and values which the smooth day-to-day business operations rely upon. The CCO will build and organize Genoa’s capabilities which the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) can then deliver to customers. Together, the CCO, CFO and CTO will form an essential partnership which drives the operational success of the business.   The CCO will oversee the Corporate Services team and maintain a consistent awareness of all aspects and functions of the company’s various departments in order to fully understand evolving business needs and to deliver capability solutions.

As the ideal candidate, you have a Master’s level post-secondary education (or equivalent) and deep experience as a senior leader within a technical industry and a growth-oriented private business. You have a proven ability to influence and lead diverse teams on a day-to-day basis by setting clear direction, building, and sustaining engagement, and motivating colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes which are aligned with the company’s strategic and operational objectives. You have a successful track record of balancing current requirements with future considerations and making sound recommendations and decisions. You foster operational effectiveness by ensuring projects are completed and delivered on time and on budget, demonstrating skills and effectiveness as a facilitative leader who drives action and initiative through collaboration and teamwork. You are highly capable of leading and managing a complex strategic agenda, while building and maintaining effective relationships within the Capability (corporate services) team and with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders. You are experienced in successfully leading and managing multi-level change and achieving buy-in and consensus across organizational boundaries through your leadership presence and credibility.
