McMaster University is actively seeking an experienced strategic and collaborative leader to serve as their new Vice-President (Operations and Finance), and to help lead the University in enabling administrative operations that support the institutional vision and aspirations of their community of researchers, scholars, teachers, and learners. The Vice-President (Operations and Finance) will join McMaster University at an exciting time, as it launches a new Strategic Plan with a vision to create impact, ambition and transformation through excellence, inclusion and community, and an overall goal of advancing human and societal health and well-being.

As a member of the leadership team reporting directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-President (Operations and Finance) will work, along with the other Vice-Presidents, to support and advance the academic, teaching and research mission of the University. The Vice-President (Operations and Finance) is the chief administrative officer, accountable for the planning, development, and application of the University’s resources. As a vitally important member of the senior management team, the Vice-President (Operations and Finance) will ensure the financial, physical, human resources, information technology, ancillary, and administrative support services of the University are effectively utilized, protected, and developed in support of the academy.
