Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and reporting to the President, the Vice President, Sales and Business Development will develop and lead a revenue generation and business development strategy that drives revenue growth aligned with the Company’s vision and core philosophy. You will develop nation-wide programs designed to ensure Resolute Health’s patients, clinics and partners are fully supported with market leading service and products. You will build and manage a national business development team and implement strategies and action plans for effectively creating and managing long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Drawing upon your outstanding relationship building and change leadership skills, you will work with internal stakeholders to form an integrated service delivery model that leverages the patient centric model that the Company is known for. You will continually identify key priorities and activities and implement appropriate key performance indicators which consistently measure revenue and service performance; build seamless working relationships with stakeholders such as physicians, advocacy groups and public health representatives; remain consistently aware of emerging competitive products and services within the various markets and recommend strategies for positioning Resolute Health as a market leader; enhance online services and support offerings, ensuring a user-friendly and positive client/patient experience; demonstrate visible leadership and effective management through the development and mentoring of a cohesive national business development team, providing sound advice and guidance based upon your own track record of success; work collaboratively with your peers on the senior management team to identify opportunities for market penetration and expansion which is aligned with the company’s financial and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced senior executive with previous responsibility for revenue generation and performance within a highly entrepreneurial environment and has a solid track record of maximizing growth within a competitive landscape. You have earned the reputation of being an excellent leader, collaborator and mentor with demonstrated success in building high performance teams which consistently anticipate market needs and deliver on expectations.
With superior communication and interpersonal skills, you naturally build positive working relationships within your organization and with clients and stakeholders. Your financial, analytical, and general business skills enable you to implement and monitor budgets, key performance metrics and industry data, and to lead the changes required to effectively address evolving business priorities and fiscal objectives. You are adept at assessing and improving sales performance by consistently identifying opportunities for better processes and improved client/patient service. You have the leadership experience, the sales and marketing expertise, and the people management skills to successfully lead a diverse team who will consistently anticipate client/patient needs and ensure that Resolute Health is the service provider of choice for existing and future clients and patients. Experience within a healthcare/health services environment would be preferred.
