President and Chief Executive Officer

The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The Moncton Hospital. They work to inspire giving to help fund new technologies, innovation, renovated spaces and placing the right tools in the hands of the medical staff to strengthen patient care. The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership to staff and volunteers in carrying out the organization’s mission and strategic priorities and to work with the Board of Directors to chart the course for the future of the The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, as the President and Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and guidance for all The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation’s staff, operations and activities. You will work in collaboration with the Board to lead the renewal and implementation of the vision and strategic plan of the organization. You will capably steward the organization’s budget and you will lead and engage a team of approximately 10 employees. You will build and strengthen The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation’s relationships with various stakeholders including regulatory bodies, other agencies, community organizations, volunteers, donors, funders and the local community of Moncton. Through the development and strengthening of key local, regional and national relationships, you will ensure the ongoing sustainability and success in achieving strategic priorities. You will serve as a passionate and compelling ambassador for The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation and you will ensure the organization has a strong presence and voice in the local community and beyond.

As the ideal candidate, you are a proven leader and manager and you bring vision, managerial acumen, and exceptional communication and relationship building skills. You are comfortable working within a multi-stakeholder environment and managing operations, financial and human resources. You have a reputation for getting things done and improving operational processes, a talent for identifying innovative opportunities, and a proven track record of successfully contributing across all functional areas of an organization. You are comfortable at the front of the room or with your sleeves rolled up. Your positive management style, combined with your business management aptitude and your proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships with a range of organizational stakeholders qualifies you for this exciting opportunity.
