Atis Group is seeking a General Manager, Maritimes who will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall leadership of the business activities and sales performance the Maritime business which includes Allsco, a manufacturer of windows and doors, and Alweather, a retailer of windows. The General Manager will also be responsible for establishing and executing an effective action plan to create synergies between Allsco and Alweather in order to maximize business opportunities and reduce overall operating costs. The General Manager, Maritimes can be based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia or Moncton, New Brunswick and will direct and manage all sales, operations and general administration functions for Atis Group within the Maritime region.

The ideal candidate has 5 plus years’ experience in a general management or senior sales management position and a post-secondary degree in business administration or management. You have a proven track record in developing and growing sales and revenue in a B2B and B2C environment, as well as demonstrated capacity in the implementation of strategic business development plans. You are experienced in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to maximize the value of the business and can recommend project priorities and appropriate investments for achieving financial, sales, and operational goals and objectives. You have superior communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, an innate customer service orientation and can easily learn, retain, and effectively communicate relevant industry information. You are a critical thinker who sets clear objectives for your team and can lead cross-functional initiatives that will have a clear impact on business objectives and positive customer outcomes. Experience within a construction-related industry or a related sector is an asset though not a necessity.
