Vice President, New Car Sales

Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer of O’Regan’s Automotive Group, the Vice President, New Car Sales is a key member of the senior management team and will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day new car sales operations across all locations support the company’s overall growth and quality objectives. You will provide the team of General Sales Managers (GSMs) with the right tools for success by developing and implementing policies, processes and controls for improving sales effectiveness and efficiency. Drawing upon your strong management skills, you will coach and mentor the GSMs to achieve consistent execution of strategies for sales growth, improving customer service practices and working collaboratively to ensure performance excellence. You will continually communicate priorities and objectives and implement appropriate key performance indicators which consistently measure results against established goals; remain aware of new and emerging retail trends and best practices which focus on quality, accountability, and maintaining customer loyalty. You will work collaboratively with the CEO and your peers on the senior leadership team to identify opportunities for continued business diversification, succession and market expansion and implement sales and operational strategies, ensuring the “O’Regan’s Way” is deeply entrenched in the sales culture.

The ideal candidate has a strong client service orientation, senior level sales operations and management experience, preferably within a retail/B2C environment, and a successful track record within a changing industry. You are known as an excellent leader, collaborator and mentor with demonstrated success in building high performance sales organizations and successfully leading change. Your financial acumen, administrative, analytical and general business skills enable you to implement and monitor budgets, key performance metrics and industry data and lead the changes required to effectively address evolving business priorities and fiscal objectives. You are adept at assessing and improving sales effectiveness by consistently identifying opportunities for better processes and improved customer service. You motivate others by exemplifying high performance and an innate drive to succeed in a competitive market. You have the leadership experience, drive, and people management skills to guide and stretch the sales organization to continued success through high accountability, consistent best practices, and a commitment to the O’Regan’s mandate of service excellence.
