The Senior Director, Deal Structuring & Finance is responsible for leading the Corporation’s overall financial management process. Reporting to the CEO, and responsible for a diverse group of 16, the
position will have day to day operational responsibility for the branches of Financial Assistance to Industry as well as Special Accounts and Internal Controls. The Senior Director must understand the economic
growth strategy, outside factors and current realities.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance executive and proven business leader, ideally with experience in the commercial banking industry. Your post secondary education in Business Administration or related field combined with a minimum of 8 years leadership experience, preferably within a fast-growing and entrepreneurial organization, makes you a great fit for this organization. You have demonstrated a strong team based approach throughout your career and are comfortable working with partners and stakeholders to ensure results are delivered to all clients.
A natural relationship builder, you move seamlessly from the boardroom to the negotiating table, and have experience advising on a wide range of financial issues. You have the ability to influence, broker and close deals, and make positive impressions based on presentations and knowledge. You have a proven track record of leading diverse teams that may be internal or external to your organization and you thrive in this environment. You inspire your staff to strive for excellence by gaining buy-in on difficult decisions. Your collaborative leadership approach fosters innovative solutions while developing strategy for both struggling and flourishing companies. You will drive positive results for both the organization and province, and you are inspired by the challenge that this broad mandate brings.
