Terra O’Bryan, Executive Search Consultant (Halifax)
Terra O’Bryan brings more than seven years of recruitment experience to Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette’s Executive Search Team. With a passion for people and persuasive manner, Terra attracts the top-quality talents in any search. Her creativity and uncommon dedication to excellence in client service make Terra an invaluable addition to the Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette team, and an asset to any project she undertakes.
Before joining Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, Terra spent a number of years in fast-paced organizations, where she was primarily responsible for recruitment and selection. With this informal HR generalist background, Terra is now focusing on her expertise in recruitment and executive search.
Born and raised in Newfoundland, Terra moved to Nova Scotia to attend Saint Mary’s University and has made Halifax her home. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Marketing and Human Resource Management, as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and is actively involved in the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia (HRANS).
Terra’s commitment to lifelong education in her field is illustrated by her volunteer activities with the HRM chapter of the Professional Development Committee of HRANS. Terra spent 6 years in a volunteer capacity, helping to plan and organize professional development events for her colleagues. Terra also regularly participates in the Run for the Cure, and various children’s charities and telethons in Nova Scotia.
