Laura Nickerson
A passion for human resources brought Laura to the Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette team. Her friendly, engaging personality and attention to detail help her add to the Career Solutons team, ensuring clients and candidates alike enjoy their experience with KBRS.
Originally from Toronto, Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Certificate in Human Resource Management. Recognizing how difficult the transition from high school to university can be, particularly when moving away from home, Laura worked with Saint Mary’s Student Services helping organize New Student and Family Orientations. She also assisted with the First Year Information program, a program designed to help first year students adjust to university life.
Laura is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP); she is a member of HRANS and a volunteer on the HRANS professional development committee. Outside of work Laura is a competitive Irish dancer and has competed at the Canadian, North American, and World Irish dance championships several times.
