As the Career Solutions Practise Leader, April has worked as a Coach and Consultant for 10 years. She is a Certified Career Coach, Certified Myers Briggs Practitioner, and a trained group facilitator. She joined the firm in 2002 and has been a significant contributor ever since. Working with professionals to executives, April has positively impacted many careers.
Her expertise in delivering focused career direction is built on a unique combination of honesty, a natural ability to “connect” with people, and a passion to see clients through to success. April has been instrumental in helping clients identify their potential blind spots and connect with their authentic vocation.
April’s background includes marketing and senior administrative roles within the federal government, recruitment, and communications sectors. Over the past eight years, April has tapped into her experience, knowledge, and intuitiveness to provide guidance on diverse issues to hundreds of clients.
An active community member, April is proud to serve as Vice Chair of the Africville Heritage Trust. As well, she is the HR Chair on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success. April has been involved with the Co-operative Housing Sector for the past 15 years, and presently serves on the Board of Directors of a local 60-unit housing co-operative. April has been a key contributor to a number of company-sponsored events and fundraising initiatives in support of the Nova Scotia Sport Fund and the IWK Health Centre.
Currently, April resides in the Dartmouth area with her husband and two sons.
