Kevin Stoddart is Vice President of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette and his primary responsibility is to help lead the Executive Search practice for the firm. He is also involved in firm-wide management and leads business development and marketing initiatives for Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette under four practice areas: Executive Search, Contingent Recruitment, Career Transition and Human Resource Consulting.

Kevin is results-driven and brings that same vigor to the clients and candidates of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette he works with. He understands the importance of building trust and rapport with these individuals and turns relationships into results.

Kevin’s network within the business community in Atlantic Canada is what sets him apart. He has personally completed hundreds of search assignments with leading organizations and has the knowledge and experience necessary to help his clients. “Organizations hire us to bring exceptional individuals to the table. The primary differentiator in business is people; talented people drive success. Without them, organizations struggle to compete. It’s not location, technology or marketing. These things all matter, but without talented employees, long-term success cannot be achieved… that’s where we come-in.” Kevin has access to some of the best and brightest candidates in Atlantic Canada, those looking to return, and those who’ve heard what a great place this is to work and live. “The key difference is access to talent, not simply knowing of them, but having the skill and credibility to meaningfully engage with the best and brightest individuals.”

In addition to his recruitment responsibilities, Kevin also takes a leadership role within the firm around internal HR policies and best practices. As he says, “We need to lead by example regarding our own HR practices if we hope to provide advice to others.”

Kevin is an active leader in the community, having served with many important organizations over the years; he is currently Vice Chair of the Board for United Way of Halifax and sits on both the Audit and Governance Committees. “Community support is a cornerstone of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette. We encourage and support all our staff to get involved and give back. We’re very fortunate to live where we do and I believe we have a responsibility to help our communities in any way we can.”

A graduate of Saint Mary's University, Kevin resides in the Halifax area and enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and two daughters.
