Through a confidential framework, Karen works one-on-one to help leaders define and create strategies to meet their personal and organizational goals – from communicating more effectively to motivating a team, strengthening leadership presence or career advancement.
Prior to becoming an executive coach, Karen enjoyed 15 years in public relations working in consulting agencies as well as both the Newfoundland and Nova Scotia governments supporting deputies, ministers, senior managers and CEOs in the successful communications of mergers, labour issues and major organizational change. Karen is writing her first book, NAIL IT: Six Steps to Getting it Right at Work, and her advice and insight has been featured in the Globe & Mail’s career section and Atlantic Business Magazine.
Karen is a certified executive coach through Royal Roads University and an accredited member of the International Coach Federation. She also holds a Bachelor of Public Relations and is a Level 2 Legacy Leadership® facilitator. Karen lives in Halifax with her family and supports children’s charities such as Breakfast for Learning through annual fundraising campaigns.
