Anna’s consultative style and pragmatic approach has delivered exceptional results to a range of organizations and leaders across the region. As a Vice President with Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, Anna leads executive search assignments with our public sector clients and provides leadership to our career solutions and human capital solutions practices. Whether working with a Search Committee, meeting with a candidate or coaching a leader, Anna is committed to providing strategic talent leadership guidance to our valued clients. Her past experience as a senior leader with the public service, and as an advisor to senior public and private sector leaders across Atlantic Canada, has given her first-hand insight into the rewards and challenges of making an impact in the Atlantic Canadian economy.

Throughout her 20-year career, Anna has provided recruitment, strategic and operational advisory services to a range of government departments and agencies in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, along with a range of family-owned businesses and private sector organizations. From recruitment and people development to strategic planning and organizational, Anna has helped organizations and leaders identify, plan, and realize their goals. Anna is also an accomplished author, speaker and facilitator. She has contributed insightful articles on recruitment, career transition and leadership to various professional business publications. She conducts seminars and workshops for corporate clients, universities, professional groups and industry associations.

Prior to joining Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, Anna was a consulting partner and principal with two large public accounting firms, and held senior leadership roles within the Nova Scotia public sector. Anna is a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Management Consultant, and has a Master's Degree in Health Administration.

Anna’s passion for public and community service is demonstrated through her active involvement with many community and professional groups. As Vice-Chair for Brigadoon Children’s Camp, Anna is helping to build a summer camp for children in Atlantic Canada with chronic illness. She has also given back to her community through her work to secure funding for the Maskwa Aquatic Club, as an agent for the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia’s Different Stage of Mind event, as a member of the Nominating Committee for the Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia and as a founding member of the Nova Scotia Chapter of Invest in Kids.

Anna is a proud Navy wife and mother of two inspiring daughters. In her spare time, Anna is a slow but steady runner and a recreational skier.
